The world is "Pinking up"

Springtime is here. Spring takes a long time in Iceland. It always seems like it's never going to come. Then you day one notices a green tinge on the branches of trees. A couple of days later it's obvious that those greenish inclings intend to turn into buds. And then you know it's happening. A strip of grass is turning green alongside walls of houses. The moss between concrete cavewalk tiles turns green as well.

The whole words is getting is colour back in its cheeks after a winter's time of dormansy.

In medical terms, when the blood starts to flow when people come around, they are "pinking up". Same happens with nature. Thus, the only logical colour to use for a landscape depicting this turn - is pink.

Pink soil, pink flora, pink trees, pink birds and a pink sky. I couldn't resist adding a few white feathers as bushes.
