"Hope of glory"February quilt page is well under way, being in the second half of quilting. It was supposed to have a blue background but blue didn't fit the design idea so the blues are going to have to wait. Fits my personal agenda as well! Instead it has brigt blues, blue-greens and greens, with a focal point in gold and silver.The title, "Hope of glory" is part of a sentence from literature that appealed to me. The sentence took on the form presented in the quilt as I thought about it. It is one of those quilts that speaks itself into being.
