Rest in peace

According to the
Boston Globe medical examiners have started the difficult task of separating the physical remains of terrorists and victims of September 11.

According to Ellen Borakove, spokeswoman for the medical examiner, "remains that match the hijacker profiles will be removed from the city's Memorial Park, where unidentified and unclaimed remains are kept."

Jennie Farrell, leader of victims advocacy group says: "I certainly do not want the remains of those barbarians intermingled with the innocent, wonderful people we lost on Sept. 11."

Why can't we let the dead reast in peace? What is to be done with the remains of the criminals? That has not been decided. Stick them on poles in public as a warning? Actually this is a disturbance of the peace of the innocent and wonderful people. I am certain they don't mind at all where they are now. This disturbance is not for their benefit.
