I am concerned

I am concerned about things near and far, personal issues, social issues, world affairs. The world is bigger than the post stamp I live on. Too bad that some people think their post stamp is the only valid one. There was a time my country had different stamps for domestic mail and international mail. Now our stamps are of differing value depending on weight of mail and distance to be sent. My mail will not be accepted if I put on it a stamp of too little value. It will not reach its destination and my intended receipient will not benefit.

So it is with world affairs. The world will not benefit from ideas that serve only a single country's interests. To think it will is bigotry
