Dancing queens - whose domain? An owner of one of the strip bars decided to move the private dancers to a branch in a neighbouring town. A member of the town council there has proposed that the council bans private dancing. The second largest town in Iceland doesn't allow private dancing in stip bars. They have also made strict rules for strip shows. The distance between dancers and audience must be at least 4 meters and the dancers may not mingle with the guests. The purpose of such restrictions is to make soliciting more difficult. On the other hand, I think those restrictions make the hunting game more exiting for the buyers. I want to see a law which makes it illegal to buy the service of prostitues. I don't want to make criminals out of prostitues by making soliciting illegal.I think the buyers of such entertainment will have to turn back to the good old posters. As long as they have them hanging on the walls of their homes only, no one would mind, exept their wifes perhaps. Posted by Olof I. Davidsdottir 09:59 . . .
