No competition

I am convinced that the television stations are in favour of people going away for vacation. People still pay their dues. But as they don't see the programs they have no reason to complain. I like staying at home during vacation time. Come evening I sometimes want to unwind infront of the TV. And what do I get? Something outdated, re-run, no story, poor conversation and faded colours. These are the "once-were-famous-films". I know people who have TVs in their summer huts and they complain too. They go away for the weekend and take one along so they will not miss out on anything only to discover they aren't, even without one.

It's amazing that all the channels seem to have the same goal: to keep the audience away from TV.
