Born: 11.12.53. Iceland

School: Oslo School of Architecture (AHO) 1975-1981, and ILAUD (International Laboratory of Architecture and Urban Design) Italy autumn 1979.

Practice: Practice with Lund & Slaatto and Eliassen and Lambertz-Nilssen in Oslo 1981-1987. Project coordinator on various large scale buildings as Veritas, office buildings etc.

Office: The office Gudmundur Jonsson Architects established in june 1987 as a result of winning the Scandinavian competition for the Icelandic Concerthouse.
