July 15th  We are grateful for the
response
we got during our first exhibition.
We know this was only the beginning and we are already planning the next steps to take. We learned a lot during this display, both what we like and what we want to change and do better next time. Most of all we learned about the interest from people and that encourages us to continue and keep the Friendship Tapestry growing. Here below are some pictures taken during the exhibition of The Friendship Tapestry, at the Art Festival Gullkistan at Laugarvatn, Iceland:   Many people showed much

  Klara Sveinsdóttir, the manager of Hotel Edda ML, was really helpful the whole time. Thank you very much Klara!      The
Friendship
Tapestry as it looked the last day of the exhibition July 3rd. Since
then pieces have arrived and are on the piece-page and will be added to
the tapestry before the next exhibition. Gréta and Ćgir, Halldór Páll and Lárus planting the Friendship Tapes-tree, by the high school / Hotel Edda. 
 Klara Sveinsdóttir hotel manager and Halldór Páll Halldórsson principal of the Laugarvatn high school, will take good care of the Friendship Tapes-tree. They hold the framed text about the tree.  Each day as we opened the
exhibition, we lighted a candle and said
thank
you and asked for blessings for all those that are participants of the
Friendship Tapestry and for those who will become participants later.
Blessings to each according to their own faith.
We are now planning the next steps to take both concerning the exhibitions of the tapestry and the website.
